Randy Savage was one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up the boots but by the time Raw made its debut he had been relegated to a position on the announcers team as the company believed that there was little left for Savage as an in-ring performer. Though Savage disagreed and would later prove that notion wrong with his run in WCW, he played his part with gusto during that first year of Raw and was almost ever-present. He even got in the ring a few times and started the angle with Crush that would eventually lead to their Falls Count Anywhere match at WrestleMania X. Unfortunately Randy Savage passed away as a result of a heart attack in 2011 at the age of 58. He was driving his Jeep at the time and many believed that the crash had killed him, though later reports showed it was a heart attack. He is due to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the class of 2015. Perhaps the most depressing thing about this list is the sheer number of entrants who died far too young. Even taking the likes of Lou Albano and Alfred Hayes into account, the average age of death for these 19 stars is just a little over 50 years.
