19 Wrestlers From Raw's Debut Year Who Are No Longer With Us

14. Jimmy Del Ray

The Gigolo made sporadic appearances during the first year of Raw, combining with Tom Prichard as The Heavenly Bodies during matches towards the later part of 1993. The duo originally found their way to the WWE as part of an agreement between the company and Jim Cornette€™s Smoky Mountain Wrestling. They would go on to make more appearances the following year before moving onto ECW without ever having captured WWE gold. Del Ray would also find himself in WCW for a short period before being forced into retirement by a knee injury in 1997. Del Ray is the most recent casualty on this list, having lost his life in December of 2014 of injuries sustained during a truck crash. He was 52.
