2 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jan 25)

1. Don't Anger The Machine

If there's one thing that's been confirmed from Impact Wrestling in the last 12 months, it's that you should never get on the bad side of Brian Cage. The Machine is capable of unthinkable things when given the chance, which he's done time and time again as of late in his quest for the World Championship.

The main event World Championship contest between Johnny Impact and Killer Kross ended in a no contest thanks to the interference of Cage. Kross was on the cusp of victory as Cage barged in, destroying both men in his path (as well as Moose) like only he can. F5s here, discus lariats there, no-one stood a chance.

There was an odd ending to the brawl though, with Impact helping Cage fend off Kross and Moose despite having just been clotheslined out of his boots. Looks like the mayor of Slamtown doesn't care who he's friends with, as long as he has the championship in his possession.

It does appear like it'll be a four way feud of sorts going forward, which could very well be a phenomenal rivalry. Just remember though Johnny - keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
