2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 2 - Results & Review)

3. Character > Random Matches

Queen Aminata Willow Nightingale
AEW

AEW needs to do something with Queen Aminata and fast.

She's had a few losses on TV in a row now, but hasn't been handed any sort of feud or personality to properly sink her teeth into. That needs addressed ASAP, otherwise Aminata will go the way of so many other women on the All Elite roster and fade away. She has too much talent for that.

There was nothing fundamentally wrong with Queen's match vs. Willow Nightingale on Friday, but wrestlers with character will always be more interesting than those just working random matches. Aminata is stuck in that rut currently, and it looks like she's heading for another 'L' courtesy of Serena Deeb on Collision.

Fans respond to Aminata during her matches, and it's fairly obvious everyone agrees she could become something special if creative meets her halfway. Tossing the Queen out there to work exhibition bout after exhibition bout is already dull though.
