2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 25)

1. Powerhouse Hobbs Needs…Help?

Right, someone needs to sit Mr. Khan down and ask him what his long-term plans for Powerhouse Hobbs are. If it boils down to Hobbs needing helping from QT Marshall and his revamped QTV unit, then forget it - that won't get the new TNT Champ over, and it kinda spits on his presentation anyway.

Isn't Hobbs' whole deal that he's become good enough to stand on his own two feet and dominate the opposition? He's gone from bit-part player in Team Taz to someone who needs QTV to help him beat tag-team guys in random exhibition bouts on Rampage.

That's not a good sign.

AEW already flubbed Wardlow's run with the TNT prize, so they better not be repeating that trick with Powerhouse. Scripting so many "Book Of Hobbs" vignettes that portrayed him as a lone wolf, but showcasing him as anything but is puzzling.
