2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 25)

Ups...

2. No Problems With This

Taya Valkyrie AEW
AEW

Taya Valkyrie coming across as somebody who could be the challenger Jade Cargill's needs is great to see, and the recent signee provided one of Rampage's few bright sparks this week. She ran through a squash last Friday, then taunted the TBS Champ. That format worked then, and it worked here.

This week, Valkyrie beat one of Jade's crew (Leila Grey), then smacked Mark Sterling around after doing it. Rampage squashes can be rather hit or miss, but this is all working well for Taya right now. The way Cargill stood slack-jawed on the ramp as this newcomer destroyed her entourage was good stuff too.

More of this, please.

Jade has needed some kryptonite for a while, and Taya could be just the ticket. Suggestion: Cargill vs. Valkyrie needs to be built up until Double Or Nothing, then Taya needs to take that title from Jade. It's become a bit of a creative noose for her anyway.
