2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 10 - Results & Review)

Downs...

4. Picture-In-Picture Overload

AEW Rampage Collision Pic-In-Pic Ad Break
AEW

People are probably tired of this whinge now, but COME ON.

Occasional interruptions are fine, and AEW's advertising dollars are important. They're also at the mercy of TV companies when it comes to commercials, but...almost every single match on Rampage went picture-in-picture, and that's just too much to stomach. Worse, this always seems to happen approx 2-3 minutes in.

It'd be nice if All Elite could shake things up and maybe, y'know, pick their moments a little better. If they absolutely must go pic-in-pic, then defo don't do it when Ricky Starks and Preston Vance are cooking, or when there's a big spot upcoming. That's rubbish - nobody's watching these shows to see a Vagisil ad hog the left hand side of the screen whilst Vikingo does a moonsault in mute on the right.

Thankfully, the short squash didn't get extended so AEW could tell you about Collision. That's another problem. Yes, promote your upcoming shows by all means, but not mid-match when there should be something more interesting to pay attention to.
