2 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 22)

1. Another Classic

The main event of the episode was another epic chapter in the story between The LAX and The Lucha Bros. While it may have not been as good as the previous battles, all four once again put in the effort to make the match something special. In fairness though, people weren't really talking about the in-ring action post-match as Ortiz and Santana took the masks of Pentagon Jr. and Fenix.

It felt right like the right for Konnan's boys to do something dastardly. They come across as natural bad guys just by their attitudes as soon as they burst through the curtain. While the friendly rivalry was good and all, those types of fueds never go the full distance staying in the friendly fire format. Failing to regain the Tag Team Championships clearly pushed LAX that extra bit too far.

Coming into the match, it felt as if this could've been the end of the rivalry, seeing as it would've been the duos' third tag match opposite each other since January. Now though, it could very well continue on until Impact's next pay-per-view event at the end of April, that being Rebellion.
