2 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 13)

4. Rinse And Repeat

Powerhouse Hobbs Harley Cameron

So, Powerhouse Hobbs is back to square one and pushing his "Book Of Hobbs" gimmick without actually ever explaining what that means. He appeared in a short backstage sit-down with fellow QTV member Harley Cameron, and mumbled something about writing one's own story.

OK then.

AEW did the dirty on Powerhouse by giving him a ridiculously-pointless 42-day reign as TNT Champion, then plonked him into the midst of QT Marshall's group for no real reason. Worse, they're right back where they started with the guy, and he's never felt less must-see than he does right now.

Making this "Book Of Hobbs" thing click with the core fanbase will be a real chore unless Tony Khan adds context. You can't just have some big dude stroll around talking nonsense without following through on his words, then expect people to be into it.
