2 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 20 - Results & Review)

1. A Fun-Filled Triple Threat

Kip Sabian John Silver

Match of the night doesn't go to Mistico vs. Rocky Romero then. No, it goes to a tidy little three-way pitting the criminally underrated Kip Sabian vs. John Silver vs. Brother Zay. Yes, the bulk of the minutes on Rampage went to Mistico and Rocky, but match length isn't everything.

Maximising your mins is important.

The Triple Threat battle to determine a new number one contender for Orange Cassidy's International belt won't blow your mind, or anything, but everyone worked incredibly hard and the match had a nice flow to it. A temporary union between Kip and Silver kept things interesting during the typically-slow halfway sections too.

Silver challenging Cassidy for the International gold isn't too compelling, but it'd be silly to ignore just how solid an effort he put in on Friday. Kudos to Zay for doing his able best to get the live crowd onside too - he's onto something with that fan participation stuff.
