2 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 20 - Results & Review)

Ups...

2. The Third Fall

Mistico AEW
AEW

Some might've been shocked to see Mistico's AEW debut pop up in the 'Downs', 'cause it has been catching praise elsewhere online. That's fair enough, but not everything was spot on. Being totally honest, the first two falls were a bit tame and slow given the hype.

Thankfully, that third fall upped the tempo and showed how much chemistry these guys do have together. Where the hell that was during falls one and two is anyone's guess. Perhaps Mistico and Romero were pacing themselves, but it was a little boring.

Three cheers for that finale then!

It was like Mistico suddenly remembered that he was supposed to be putting on a show here. Things intensified just enough to make the wait worthwhile, and Rocky provided a solid base for some excellent lucha skills from the man behind the (ripped) mask.

Check out the final few minutes, if nothing else.
