2 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Starrcade 2019

Ups...

2. House Party

Street Profits The OC
WWE

Street Profits Vs The OC was house show fodder supplanted onto the WWE Network like the rest of this show, but it was a reminder that house shows are often more enjoyable than television tapings - these guys f*cked around and it was great fun.

Unpicking the formula is pointless because of just how formulaic it was - babyfaces had the advantage, heels took it, babyfaces took it back and went over in just under ten minutes. It's been done a million times before and will be done a million more, but the craic between the four was enjoyable, the sight of Ric Flair seconding Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins was something unique for the night and the hot Atlanta crowd popped for all of it.

Fun is fun - WWE would do well to remember this when agenting television matches once in a while.
