2 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (May 23)

1. Giving Riddle Newfound Purpose

After playing the goof for his entire run, we finally got to see a different side of Riddle Monday night.

Gone were the flying flops, CGI doves and stoner comedy. All we saw was a man looking for vengeance for his fallen comrade, Randy Orton. Riddle said Randy had been battling a bad back for some time and had been knocked out of action for some time, which could spell the end of RK-Bro, at least for the time being.

Riddle used that venom to his advantage, swearing revenge on the entire Bloodline, and then attacking the Usos throughout the six-man tag match, looking borderline unhinged in jumping the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions in the aisle and randomly during the match.

If RK-Bro is on hiatus for a bit while Riddle works his way through the Bloodline to get revenge, that’s a perfectly good side quest for the Original Bro, and Orton’s injury should fire him up appropriately.
