7. Naomi Gets Pinned

Last week, reigning SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley got pinned by Naomi. This time, it was the challenger's turn to eat defeat at the hands of the heels, and it doesn't make sense. Why in the name of 'Legit Boss' brands and 'Sassy Southern Belles' were Sasha Banks and Lacey Evans involved then?

Surely those women should've taken the fall over the past fortnight, not the champ or her recent contender when it was totally avoidable. Sure, WWE likely want to add some threat to Bayley's championship reign, but she's only coming across as subpar to Sasha again. That sucks when she was doing so well without Banks by her side.

That SmackDown belt has become the ugly duckling of the women's game in early-2020. Raw's title mix has been freshened up by Shayna Baszler, and NXT's actually looks like the most exciting. Bayley, meanwhile, is being treated poorly by the writers.

Sasha did sneakily glance at the title a few times during the post-match backstage celebrations. 'Mania match in-waiting?
