2 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (6 March)
5. Firefly "Fun" House
'Firefly Fun House' has been a regular highlight of WWE programming since it started last April. The key word in the title is "fun" though. There was an alarming lack of it on this week's SmackDown where Bray Wyatt was concerned. The maniacal host didn't tell fans anything they didn't already know.
John Cena beat him at WrestleMania XXX and it changed the course of his career. Now, he wants revenge. Blah, blah, blah. How did WWE's writing team manage to turn one of the best characters in modern wrestling history into such a windbag who has practically nothing worthwhile to say? It's infuriating to watch.
To top it all off, Wyatt didn't even mention his pain over losing the Universal Title.
One would think that he'd be exasperated over dropping the belt to Goldberg at Super ShowDown, but no. Bray never talked about that, or laid out his plans to recapture his throne after 'Mania. Instead, he said some...stuff about Cena and waved goodbye.
