Ups…

2. Omos Doesn’t Play Games

The New Day has been using a certain shtick for years, and it’s worked well for them. They joke, they goof, and they keep things light, even when squaring off against their opponents. They attempted to do the same on Monday night with AJ Styles and Omos as part of their effort to show that they weren’t really a team.

New Day hosted a game night with several party games pitting the two teams against each other. Naturally, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston dominated, but AJ threw himself into it, playing charades and drawing with reckless abandon. But Omos was having none of it.

The towering colossus grabbed the mic and said he and AJ didn’t need to win game night to prove they were a good team – they needed to win at WrestleMania and capture the tag titles to prove they were a good team. Truer words were never spoken.

And just like that, Omos showed he was serious, and he was serious about winning a title. That makes you care about the titles and the match itself.
