2 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (March 29)

1. McIntyre Doesn’t Wait For Sneak Attack

We’ve mentioned how the bounty angle could have been executed better, but since it’s in front of us, let’s evaluate how it actually played out on Monday night.

Drew McIntyre knew that some wrestlers would be bound to go after him, so rather than wait, he stalked around backstage, yelling for anyone to just take their shot. When that failed, he stormed into the locker room and dared someone to attack him, even trying to provoke a few guys. He accepted a match against Ricochet, then proceeded to beat him quickly.

Then Mustafa Ali (remember when he was simply raging against the WWE machine? Now he’s trying to join it at WrestleMania) jumped McIntyre and a second match was on… with the same result.

Finally, McIntyre called out Bobby Lashley to finish the job himself. But it was King Corbin who finally got the upper hand and allowed the WWE Champion to put Drew down with several Hurt Locks. But you have to give credit to McIntyre, knowing potentially the entire roster could be gunning for him, went right up and begged them to try.
