2 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (March 29)

2. Conflicting Messages

Bobby Lashley Baron Corbin

Let’s try to sort this out: Bobby Lashley is concerned about his image and being able to win matches by himself (as evidenced last week against Sheamus), but he also is apparently scared enough of Drew McIntyre that he would put a bounty on the former champ.

These two things don’t match up, and they don’t exactly line up with how they’ve been portraying Lashley in recent months. Instead of continuing to portray The All Mighty as a dominant heel champion, he’s now a dominant champ who is openly asking the locker room to take out his chief opposition.

It’s just a dumb premise. Maybe if MVP was doing it behind Lashley’s back – looking to protect his investment – it would have worked out so much better. But instead, we got the worse option.
