20 Absolute Best Wrestlers In The World Right Now

12. Keith Lee

The global independent scene was dealt an almighty blow when its MVP decided he'd rather be Kassius Ohno than Chris Hero in late 2016. Re-signing with WWE meant depriving promoters the opportunity to book one of the best wrestlers in the world (at the time), and a surefire indie draw, but a saviour soon emerged.

Keith Lee has filled this role and then some. Like Hero before him, you know a show's going to be worth your while when you see his name on the card, and it's a rare occasion when he fails to deliver a barnstorming performance.

'The Limitless One' must be seen to be believed, and not just for his freakish power game. The near-300lber moves around the ring like a man half his size, delivering dives and 'ranas like they're nothing, though he's no spot monkey. Lee has mastered the art of peppering his bouts with sublime character work, and carries himself with just the right amount of cockiness, creating an eye-catching, Low Ki-esque presence that permeates everything he does.

If it isn't already, expect Lee's name to be on WWE's radar very, very soon.
