Coming into Royal Rumble 2015, wrestling fans were beginning to grow tired of Brock Lesnar's absentee reign as WWE Champion. The Beast had only defended his title once in his five-month reign, and with WrestleMania looming, fans were not looking forward to a Road to the Showcase of the Immortals without the WWE Champion around.

That all changed once the bell rang as Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins and John Cena put on an instant classic. The match was really a story of three parts, with The Beast dominating the majority of the match until Cena and Rollins teamed up to temporarily take Lesnar out. What followed was The Architect and the 16-time World Champion putting on a clinic.

After Rollins hit a picture perfect Phoenix Splash on Cena, Lesnar emerged from a broken announce table to German Suplex Cena out of the ring and destroy Seth Rollins with an F-5 to retain his WWE Championship. The Beast Incarnate's performance was even more impressive given that Brock's ribs were legitimately broken when going through the announce table.

Action-packed from start to finish, this is rightfully remembered as one of the best triple threat matches in WWE history and is likely the best match in the legendary career of Brock Lesnar.
