20 Best Matches Of Brock Lesnar's Career
2. Vs. Daniel Bryan - Survivor Series 2018
When Daniel Bryan announced that he was cleared to return to WWE, one match at the top of fans wish list was a clash versus Brock Lesnar. The Beast and the leader of The Yes Movement was WWE's ultimate David vs. Goliath matchup that fans were clamouring for. Their wish would be granted after a shocking heel turn led to 'The New' Daniel Bryan becoming WWE Champion and replacing AJ Styles in the champion versus champion match at Survivor Series.
As the match began, fans were beginning to worry it would not live up to expectations as Lesnar spent the first ten minutes dominating Bryan the same way he did at SummerSlam 2014 against John Cena. With The Beast ragdolling the WWE Champion, an F-5 accidentally took out the referee leading to a low blow by Bryan.
Following the low blow, the two champions had one of the most engaging matches in recent memory as Daniel Bryan attempted to chop the much larger Lesnar down to size. Yes Kicks, Running Knees, and Bryan's signature submission offense led fans to believe the unthinkable could happen with Bryan beating Lesnar. Those dreams were quickly put to bed as Brock picked D-Bry up during a triangle choke into an F-5 for the win.
The dream match fans had been waiting years for certainly lived up to the hype. Despite the quick build and Bryan's heel turn, both he and Brock Lesnar proved why they are two of the best in the world.
