20 Best Matches Of Brock Lesnar's Career
16. Vs. Undertaker - SummerSlam 2015
At WrestleMania XXX, Brock Lesnar shocked the wrestling world when he ended The Undertaker's WrestleMania winning streak. Unfortunately, the match was not up to the standards The Deadman had built up at The Showcase of The Immortals due to a severe concussion he sustained during the match. The Phenom would return over a year later, both to avenge his first loss at WrestleMania, as well as their subpar performance at the event. The Deadman had also been unable to defeat Brock, dating back to their first matchup, all the way back in 2002.
While far short of a technical masterpiece, this bloody war was more a showcase of The Deadman and The Beast's greatest hits. There were Suplexes, Chokeslams, Tombstone Piledrivers, F-5's and submissions throughout their match. The ending was a little convoluted, as the bell rang with Lesnar locking in a Kimura lock. The referee said he never called for the bell despite The Undertaker appearing to tap out upon replay. The Phenom used the distraction to hit a low blow followed by forcing Lesnar to pass out in his Hell's Gate submission.
The match is most remembered for the meme-worthy moment of both men maniacally laughing at each other and the image of Brock flipping off The Deadman as he faded away. Despite the screwy finish, the two legends lived up to the big fight feel coming into their war at SummerSlam.
