20 Best Matches Of Brock Lesnar's Career
17. Royal Rumble 2020
The one criticism against Brock Lesnar since his return to WWE is that he does not wrestle enough and he is often an absentee champion. Both of those problems would be mitigated at the 2020 Royal Rumble event. Deciding against a title defense and instead opting not only to enter the Royal Rumble match itself, but do so from the number one position. This left fans wondering what this would mean for Brock Lesnar and the WWE Championship.
Not only did the WWE Champion dominate the Royal Rumble, he did so in a way never before seen. Starting with Elias, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion would eliminate 13 consecutive entrants, the most in the history of the Royal Rumble. For nearly a half hour, one by one, men would step up trying to slow The Beast down, to no avail. Stars such as The New Day, Rey Mysterio, Keith Lee and Braun Strowman were all eliminated in quick succession, until Ricochet was one of the few men to survive the 90 seconds before the next entrant.
That next man would be Drew McIntyre, who after a low blow by Ricochet would Claymore Kick Brock out of the ring putting an end to one of the most dominant performances in WWE history. Not only was this a highlight performance by The Beast, it would set up the main event of WrestleMania three months later.
