20 Best TNA Wrestlers Ever

8. Christian Cage

In 2016, Christian Cage still remains the best WWE to TNA wrestler who left Vince McMahon's company on his own accord. Perhaps if Cody Rhodes has a great run there, he could surpass him, but it's going to take some work.

You have to respect Christian for giving up such a good gig to show the world that he could be a main event player. It wasn't a crazy belief either, as he quickly became one of TNA's most entertaining acts. He didn’t need Edge by his side, he didn’t need the WWE machine behind him. He just needed a mic and a wrestling ring to show he belonged.

Cage became a two time TNA Heavyweight Champion during his run, and main-evented a handful of pay-per-views. Unlike many former faces from WWE or WCW, he was still in the prime of his career and simply made Impact a better product by being on it. Had he remained in the company throughout (though you can’t blame him for leaving), he would likely be a top five entry here, but still, his run there was largely quite successful for him, and really opened some eyes on just how good he could be.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
