20 Best TNA Wrestlers Ever

9. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy experienced a lot of troubled times in TNA, but he’s also one of the first few big names who showed up in the company to help legitimize them a bit in the eyes of fans. He also gave the company his all, when so many former WWE players came in and seemed to not mind half-assing their entire run.

Jeff joined TNA in 2004, when he debuted as surprise opponent for A.J. Styles. It was a dream match at the time, but ended up being incredibly underwhelming, which pretty much summed up his first run there.

When he returned in 2010, he was a new man...though now more troubled than ever. Somehow he still was giving it his all in the ring, even though his personal life seemed to be a gigantic mess. Still, he was arguably the most popular wrestler on the roster for quite some time, as fans remained devoted to him because of his WWE run. Then, he hit rock bottom when he showed up high on drugs for a pay-per-view main event.

Thankfully, Jeff turned it around, and went on to write a more positive last (?) chapter in TNA. He has taken part in some of the company’s biggest moments ever, as well as some of their lowest. If they’re able to stick around, he’ll continue to be one of their top players.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
