20 Best TNA Wrestlers Ever

19. Monty Brown

I’m afraid if I didn’t put Monty on here that I would soon...feel the POUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCE. Period.

Monty Brown was a star in the making. TNA should have given him a lengthy contract and a pile of money to stick around, and then build around him as the top babyface for years to come. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but he did leave us some fun memories along the way.

When Brown was on his game, there was no one who could cut promos like him in wrestling. They weren’t as polished or as catchphrase worthy as The Rock’s, but they were sill damn entertaining. That level of entertainment never quite translated into the ring, but he was still relatively new to the business even by the time he left TNA in 2006.

It’s a shame we never saw him make a comeback after he left WWE, as he’s one of the few TNA originals that truly felt like a potential star in the making.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
