20 Best Women's Wrestlers In The World Today

7. Toni Storm

She didn’t have many of the tournament’s best matches, but no Mae Young Classic competitor came off like a bigger star than Toni Storm. The New Zealand native’s supreme confidence and cool, cocky swagger mean she leaps off the screen as soon as she appears, which bodes well for her long-term future, particularly if it lies in WWE.

Storm’s youth is perhaps her most astonishing attribute. She’s been wrestling for close to eight years, but she’s still only 21, meaning that her peak should theoretically be a long way away. This is scary, as Storm is already among the best women’s wrestlers in the world, and could eventually become one of the all-time greats.

Toni has few flaws between the ropes. She’s an outstanding technician, but also surprisingly powerful, and someone who’s not afraid to get her hands dirty in a scrappy brawl either. Her recent dominance in PROGRESS and Stardom suggests she’ll be a big fixture in both promotions for a long time - provided the world’s biggest company don’t come knocking before she has a chance to take them to the next level, of course.
