8. Bayley

Bayley’s main roster run has done her no favours whatsoever. She was white-hot coming out of NXT, but WWE have since botched everything from her first title win to the way she eventually lost the belt to Alexa Bliss. They’ve not only killed her momentum, but also her popularity, which seemed bulletproof a few short months ago.

Regardless, Bayley remains one of the most complete female performers in the world. WWE’s inability to book a credible main roster underdog has harmed her, but it’s a role she was born to play, and if creative get their act together and remember how to push such characters without making them look like losers, there’s no reason she can’t be a hot commodity again.

Bayley is tremendous in the ring too. She’s a well-rounded grappler who knows how to put a compelling match together, and her work with the likes of Dana Brooke shows she’s capable of dragging entertaining bouts out of subpar performers. Moreover, her heart, fire, and determination always comes off strongly, making her the division’s most natural babyface, and somebody who the scene should be built around for years to come.
