20 Best Women's Wrestlers In The World Today

5. Becky Lynch

The 2016 WWE Draft appeared to set Becky Lynch up as SmackDown’s female Ace. Separated from Charlotte and Sasha Banks, she finally had the opportunity to thrive in her own spotlight, while raising the standards of the inexperienced group around her.

Sadly, this hasn’t come to fruition. Becky was the first SmackDown Women’s Champion, but has languished since dropping the belt to Alexa Bliss. She has fallen into the supporting cast when she should be playing a lead role, and while she still features on television, her diminished status doesn’t look like improving anytime soon.

Regardless, Becky is comfortably the smoothest technician of WWE’s Four Horsewomen, and nobody exudes more babyface fire in the ring. Her character can be goofy, but her energy is off the charts, and her underrated selling and ability to convey pain help draw fans into her struggle.

Everybody knows how good Lynch is, but her 2017 has been characterised by a lack of opportunities. She’s a massive asset, but also a misused one, and if SmackDown’s writers were to insert her back into the title picture tomorrow, the division would improve immeasurably.
