In 2002, the marriage between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was on the rocks. Heck, it was more than on the rocks, it had slammed right into them and found itself impaled.

It was none other than Steph's greatest rival Chris Jericho (more on them later) that seemingly steered that particular boat to the grizzly shore, and as The Game and Y2J built towards their WrestleMania X8 showdown the rivalry would get personal.

Jericho and Steph started the ball rolling on the February 25th episode of RAW by talking of Triple H's inability to defeat Jericho for the Undisputed Championship.

Steph's fake pregnancy was brought up, and she went on to say that in the bedroom, well, Triple H had always come up a little bit short.

Zing!

Well, the zing was returned with gusto, as Triple H came out to the ring to defend his honour. Utilising the Jeff Greene Curb Your Enthusiasm defence, Hunter went straight to the matter at hand;

'Even a 747 looks small when it flies through the grand canyon'.

It wasn't big, it wasn't clever - hell, it wasn't even original - but it was pretty hilarious.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
