Arguably the harshest critique of the much-maligned X-Pac came from none other than Edge in 2001. As Christian and X-Pac discussed their disdain for the fans in the ring, Edge would interrupt and try to intersect a dose of reality into the situation.

After hitting X-Pac with some fairly standard 2001 insult fare, Edge knocks it out the park with this doozy...

'1998 called, and they are sick and tired of you'.

It's one thing to call someone irrelevant in the present, but to go back in time and call someone irrelevant in what they considered their prime is a whole new level of run down. Poor X-Pac indeed.

Head to 6.41 for this harsh assessment of Sean Waltman.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
