19. Seth Rollins (C) Vs Dean Ambrose, Ladder Match For WWE Title - Money In The Bank
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have a deep chemistry, built from years of working alongside and against each other. That level of experience showed at Money In The Bank, when they contested an excellent ladder match for the WWE title. It was a narrative driven bout, with Ambrose selling a knee injury and Rollins working as a methodical heel. It was less about big bumps, and more about sound wrestling story fundamentals. It was also one of the longest WWE bouts of the year, clocking in at an impressive thirty-five minutes. The finish was both men falling off the ladder with the belt, only for Rollins to hang on. It was a good ending to a solid bout.
