13. Sami Zayn (C) Vs Kevin Owens, NXT Title - NXT Takeover Rival
This match had a whole different vibe to anything else on this list, with Kevin Owens just destroying Sami Zayn. The narrative had well placed hope spots for Zayn, but eventually ended in a rare 'knock out' finish, which saw Owens crowned the new NXT Champion. It was the making of Owens, with Zayn's awesome selling helping to get the new champ over as a killer. It also says something about Zayn, that he took such a destruction, but still came out of it looking like an elite quality pro wrestler. What will endure about the legacy of this match, is that WWE are never likely to do such a concussion style finish ever again. The recent historical lawsuits over concussions mean this is now a very sensitive area for WWE.
