As far as Rumble finishes go, this was probably the most groundbreaking. Bret Hart and Lex Luger were tasked with eliminating one another at exactly the same time, causing a dilemma which resulted in both men receiving (separate) title shots at WrestleMania 10. Whatever you think of the booking, credit must be given to both men for their timing here. John Cena and Batista would pay homage over a decade later, although their's wasn't quite as deliberate...
