20 Most Cringe-Worthy Gimmicks In WCW History

19. Johnny B. Badd

Marc Mero deserves some serious credit for managing to get this gimmick relatively over, despite the absurdity of it. Johnny B. Badd was a Little Richard impersonator, pure and simple, One can only assume WCW looked at the success WWE had with their Elvis impersonator, Honky Tonk Man, and tried to duplicate it with Mero. Complete with stick-on lipstick kisses and a confetti cannon, B. Badd was about the least intimidating wrestler ever. He managed to win the TV title on three occasions, impressive for such a one-note joke of a gimmick.
