When: Battleground 2016

The fact this three-way happened on a 'B' pay-per-view like Battleground is unacceptable. An implosion of The Shield should've done monster business at WrestleMania or SummerSlam, but it wasn't to be. WWE put Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose out there on a lower-level show instead.

Boo to them.

Anyone thinking this Triple Threat would become a hot ticket on the house show circuit is sorely mistaken too. WWE's creative team never really came back to the idea of all three Shield boys locking horns as rivals again. That's incredible when considering that bouts like Ambrose vs. Rollins and Reigns vs. Seth have been done to death individually.
