And then there were 2.

You've got to give it up for the sheer overt silliness of a name like Blaster McMassive. Similarly, Blaster's tag partner Max Smashmaster and their manager Sidney Bakabella are collectively known as The Devastation Corporation, which is like a love letter to connoisseur's of wrestling nonsense. Bask in it. Drink it in, man.

Things get even weirder when realising that McMassive's other name is Mr. Thomas. He uses that in MLW, because apparently they're not keen on Blaster. Are they idiots? What kind of company calls themselves Major League but is willing to leave Blaster McMassive off the roster?! The only devastation here is that kind of decision making.

Clearly, Blaster and Max (who sounds like a character from both Mad Max and Cyberpunk 2077) are lighthearted nods towards teams like The Road Warriors, Powers Of Pain and recent WWE Hall Of Fame inductees Demolition. There's something altogether cute about what they're trying to do here, and they'd still probs fare better than The Ascension on WWE's main roster.

Maybe not, but ring announcers on the independents must love when The Devastation Corporation are in town. Getting to announce: 'Coming down the aisle, with their manager Sidney Bakabella. Hailing from wherever they darn well please...Blaster McMassive and Max Smashmaster. The Devastation Corporation!' has to be a true thrill.
