7. Catch "The Clap" With Scotty Anton
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHbOevW8i5Q By the year 2000, Scotty Riggs wasn't an "American Male," but the stigma of his early 1990s World Championship Wrestling gimmick stayed with him as he entered Extreme Championship Wrestling in a feud with Rob Van Dam. Aside from the idea that his friendship with Van Dam had gone sour, most of Anton's heat came from the fact that he still clapped his hands like the "do-gooder" babyface he was with Marcus Alexander Bagwell in World Championship Wrestling. Even going as far as to have his ECW theme be a song entitled "The Clap," the cheap sexual metaphor of "catching the clap" indeed worked for Anton's brief run at the end of the company.
