Part of being in a bromance is having a special, emotional bond between each other that youre not afraid to share. It took awhile for Kane to be able to open up to X-Pac, but when he did, it was magical. Kane has had plenty of oddball partners over the years, but X-Pac was the one that allowed him to develop from a monster into a man. For years, we knew Kane's backstory as growing up in a basement. He had terrible scars that could only be hid with a wrestling suit and mask. He had to talk through an electrolarynx due to that disastrous fire from his youth. It was kind of hard for him to make friends. While Kane kept himself walled in, Pac was able to chisel away at that rough exterior and get to know the man behind the mask. The two began teaming up, and eventually won tag team gold multiple times. They hung out, probably went to all the hottest clubs together, and developed a strong friendship, the first of Kane's life (unless you count Katie Vick). It was through X-Pac's support, that Kane was able to speak on his own. An inspiring moment that will have even the most cynical fan bursting into tears. Things were going beautifully...until X-Pac stole Kane's girlfriend, and then had DX beat him up a bunch of times. But hey, let's just remember the good times.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
