20. The Dudley Boyz & The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian WrestleMania 16 & 17
Over the course of two years, The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz, and Edge and Christian set the bar so high for Ladder Matches that it has virtually ruined the perception of what a Ladder Match should be for wrestling fans. The incredible effort put forth by these six men is almost unfathomable. Each competitor came so close to winning at various times with the WWE Tag Team Championship hanging above the ring. Spears were delivered from 20-feet in the air, ladders were broken, and tables were shattered by Swanton Bombs. Bubba Ray, D-Von, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy put their bodies on the line only to come up short not once, but TWICE to Edge and Christian in dramatic fashion.
