Leading up to WrestleMania 28, there wasnt a fan out there who knew The Rock and John Cena were building toward a return match at WrestleMania 29. It was almost a foregone conclusion that John Cena would be leaving Miami as the victor since he would be the guy sticking around after the show. Boy, were we wrong. The Rock shocked his hometown crowd by delivering a surprise Rock Bottom for the win. As fans jumped for joy, it is almost lost on many how great of an effort Cena put forth in that match. For thirty minutes they battled back and forth with Cena leading the dance behind the scenes. The Rock and John Cena were tasked with putting together a memorable dream match when The Great One hadnt wrestled full-time in nearly ten years. Thats a huge testament to John Cenas incredible talent, even when he isnt booked to win.
