For months, Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks competed against and with each other while simultaneously lending further credibility and legitimacy to NXT's blossoming women's division. Their in-ring exploits built that area of the roster from a niche part of the roster to its greatest attribute.

It was only a matter of time before the four of them came together for an enormous Fatal 4-Way bout, the NXT Woman's Championship at stake. At TakeOver: Rival, Charlotte would have to defend against the three greatest challengers to her reign atop the women's wrestling world.

The action never stopped. From babyfaces Charlotte and Bayley teaming up for a two-on-one Codebreaker on Banks, to The Boss and The Lass Kicker double-teaming their babyface opponents before turning their focus on each other, the match was rife with storytelling, dramatic near-falls and a raucous crowd throughout.

In the end, Banks trapped Charlotte in the Bank Statement, looking to force a submission out of her former BFFs teammate. When the second-generation reached the ropes, The Boss pushed off and into a crucifix pin, beating Charlotte for the title.

There was no screwy finish, no interference or controversy. The best wrestler won the match and the title, a refreshing change from the nonsense typically seen on the main roster. That finish helped elevate the already excellent match to the ninth spot on this list.
