Tyler Bate was enjoying a mildly prolific 2024 before being struck down with an injury. Having finally been called up to the main roster, Bate reunited with Pete Dunne, competing in a handful of fun tag team outings, including title contests at both Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.
Future Tag Team Championship glory will have to be put on the backburner for now, though. 'The Big Strong Boi' tore his left pectoral clean off the bone during a match on NXT's 2 July broadcast, an injury that carries with it a hefty recovery period. For Cody Rhodes, it took roughly six months to come back; let's hope for the same for Tyler.
