Pedro Morales is a true legend of Vince McMahon's WWE, having made his debut for the company back in 1970 when it was known as the WWWF.

Over the years that this Puerto Rico native was active in the company he went on to achieve great success and what's so historical about his 1980 Intercontinental Title win is that it made him the company's first ever Triple Crown winner, a feat that wouldn't be matched until 1992 by Bret Hart.

Morales was the first proper babyface to hold the IC Title, and he'd feud with the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Stan Hansen, Killer Khan, Greg Valentine, and even get a count out victory over Hulk Hogan, during his 194-day reign.

June of 1981 would see Morales begin to get involved with Don Muraco, with "Magnificent" Muraco bringing Morales' first IC Title reign to an end on June 20th, although this wouldn't be the last time that Pedro held Intercontinental gold.
