The Rock Ic Champ

Say hello to the bad guy...

Razor is largely remembered by many as one of the greatest ever Intercontinental Champions, coming on the heels of the likes of Mr. Perfect, Texas Tornado, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, British Bulldog and Shawn Michaels. This was still a point in time where the IC Champion was deemed to be one of the very best, if not the best, workers in the World Wrestling Federation.

What helped make Razor's run with the title so memorable is a feud with Shawn Michaels where both claimed to be the "real" Intercontinental Champion. With Shawn having been stripped of the title for not defending it in 30 days and, Razor defeating Rick Martel to become the new IC Champion, the stage was set for what is classed as a truly legendary ladder match between the two at Wrestlemania 10.

Michaels and Ramon would tear the house down at 'Mania 10, with Razor getting the victory and holding the belt for a total of 198 days before dropping it to Diesel courtesy of some HBK interference.
