There's something special about Chicago wrestling fans. They are arguably the best in the world. At Payback 2013, Punk returned to WWE after taking two months and he did so in the city where he lives. It was the right place for him to do it. Even though he had worked as a heel for nearly a year prior to this moment and three months earlier he dumped Paul Bearer's ashes onto Undertaker in what was a despicable move, the fans were ready for him. They chanted his name even before his music hit. Look in my eyes, what do you see...the cult of personality. And there he was. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w5vMlPwyrE Punk returned home to the WWE that night in the city that he lived in and loved more than any other. It probably helped that the people loved him right back. CM Punk in Chicago: It's always loud and it always will be. Here's hoping we get to see it at least one more time at some point down the line.
