Shawn Michaels became obsessed with beating The Undertaker, and in order to get the rematch he needed, he was forced to put his career on the line. When Shawn Michaels lost to The Undertakers jumping Tombstone, fans roared out of their seats in appreciation for both men. The Undertaker showed his own sign of respect by helping Michaels to his feet, and then left The Heartbreak Kid alone in the ring to say a silent but heartfelt goodbye to the WWE Universe that returned his love a thousandfold.
