When it came to WrestleMania 31, WWE were caught in between a rock and a hard place because Roman Reigns was not connecting in the way that they wanted, but theyd put so much work into him that they couldnt simply have Lesnar retain without severaly damaging Reigns going forward. While Lesnar dominated the majority of the match, Reigns came back towards the end and every nearfall seemed like it could have been the end of the match. With both men emotionally and physically exhausted, Seth Rollins music hit and Levis Stadium came unglued as Mr. Money in the Bank cashed in his guaranteed WWE Championship match, turning the main event into a triple threat. Rollins did what he does best and weaseled his way out of the event with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, in what was possibly the most unpredictable finish to a WrestleMania ever.
