12. ECW Offered 'Season Ticket' Seats For Regulars
Given that the promotion regularly ran shows at the venue, fans who wanted to attend ECW events on a regular basis were offered one of the most interesting of all the promotion's quirks. Instead of simply buying individual tickets for subsequent events, those who attended on a routine basis could purchase 'season tickets', enabling them access into a group of shows. During the mid-90's, ECW events quite often had an episodic feel to them, even if they weren't televised, and this seemed to be the best way for hardcore fans to keep on top of the action. The various stories and plot lines running throughout the product were often thick on swerves and dialogue, almost like male soap opera. By buying a season pass, fans could ensure they'd see each story from start to finish, and it proved to be one of the most popular ways for ECW fans to keep up to date. ECW's fans were often as notable as anything else in the promotion, following the trials and tribulations of the extreme outfit right up until the bitter end. Watching any ECW show often reveals the same people sitting at ringside in the same seats.
