Jim Ross did a solid job at AEW Double Or Nothing, defying his critics with an announcing performance that wasn't quite vintage J.R., but still several notches above his unforgivably awful stint with NJPW.

The Oklahoman still found room for one major fumble, though, losing track of himself and the show after the joshi tag. "Alright ladies and gentlemen... get back to action momentarily, and again, we do appreciate your business," he said before a noticeable pause, during which he looked down at his script. "I'm not sure exactly where we are here," he conceded.
